1. Contest Organizer
This contest is organized by De Belle Photography (the “Organizer”).
2. Eligibility
The contest is open to couples planning to get married in 2027 or 2028, with their wedding taking place within the Greater Montréal metropolitan area.
There is no minimum age to enter. However, a parent or legal guardian must be involved where required by law, and an adult authorized to enter into the photography agreement must complete and sign the booking agreement.
The Organizer may verify eligibility before awarding the prize.
3. Contest Period
The contest opens on October 15, 2026, and closes on October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (Québec time). Entries submitted after the closing time will not be eligible. The winner will be announced on November 1, 2026.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must complete the following steps on Instagram:
- Follow @debellephotography.
- Like the official giveaway post.
- Tag their fiancé, wedding party, family members, or friends in the comments of the giveaway post. Each eligible tag in a separate comment counts as one additional entry, subject to these rules.
Bonus entry: Share the official giveaway post to your Instagram Story and mention @debellephotography. Story entries will be verified through Instagram mentions. If a Story mention cannot be verified, the bonus entry may not be counted.
No purchase is necessary to enter. Automated, fraudulent, duplicate, or otherwise abusive entries may be disqualified. Tagging the same person repeatedly does not guarantee additional eligible entries.
5. Prize Description
One (1) winner will receive one full day of wedding photography from De Belle Photography.
Approximate retail value: CAD $4,000 plus applicable taxes.
The prize includes:
- One wedding photographer for full-day coverage within the hours of 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- A full digital image gallery.
- Two separate digital galleries: one containing enhanced images and one containing unenhanced images, as defined by De Belle Photography.
The prize does not include:
- A second photographer or assistant.
- A physical wedding album or printed products.
- Detailed or individual image retouching.
- Travel expenses or travel fees.
The exact coverage schedule and image delivery details will be confirmed with the winner before the wedding.
6. Availability and Excluded Dates
The prize is subject to De Belle Photography’s availability. The prize cannot be redeemed for weddings taking place on the following excluded holiday weekends:
- Labour Day weekend.
- Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.
- U.S. Memorial Day weekend.
The wedding must take place within the Greater Montréal metropolitan area. Any additional location or scheduling restrictions must be agreed upon before the booking is confirmed.
7. Winner Selection
One winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during the contest period. Each eligible entry will have an equal chance of being selected. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
The selected winner may be required to correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, where applicable, and verify their eligibility before the prize is awarded.
8. Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize
The winner will be contacted through Instagram by the official @debellephotography account on or around November 1, 2026.
The winner must respond within one month of the initial notification to claim the prize and provide an email address for further communication and booking arrangements.
If the winner does not respond within the one-month period, cannot be reached, declines the prize, or does not satisfy the eligibility requirements, De Belle Photography may select an alternate winner through another random draw.
The winner must coordinate the wedding date and sign the required photography agreement before the prize can be confirmed.
9. Prize Conditions
The prize is non-transferable, has no cash alternative, and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or other services. It cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or offers.
The prize must be used for an eligible wedding taking place in 2027 or 2028, subject to availability and the restrictions outlined in these rules.
Any services, products, expenses, or coverage not expressly included in the prize description are the responsibility of the winner.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected through the contest will be used only to administer the giveaway, verify eligibility, contact the winner, and arrange delivery of the prize.
Entering the giveaway does not automatically subscribe participants to De Belle Photography’s marketing emails or newsletter. Newsletter subscriptions require separate consent.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
11. Instagram Disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
By participating, entrants release Instagram from responsibility in connection with this promotion to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. General Conditions
De Belle Photography may disqualify entries that violate these rules or involve fraud, manipulation, or abuse of the contest.
The Organizer may amend, suspend, or cancel the contest where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
By participating in the contest, entrants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these official rules. This contest is subject to applicable federal and Québec laws.
